Postponement of 2022 Eastern Milk Seminar
An update from the NCIMS Food Safety Subcommittee:
Due to ongoing uncertainties centered around COVID and the fact that NCIMS has been postponed to 2023, the Eastern Milk Seminar Committee has decided to postpone the 2022 Seminar until the fall of 2023. We felt this would ensure the maximum amount of attendance and allow us to discuss the changes that were made at the 2023 NCIMS conference. We apologize for this; however, we are doing our best to keep up with the continuously changing environment we now work and live in. Please know this decision was not reached lightly and we are saddened that we will not be able to all get together as planned this year.
Please note the following important details:
The 2023 Eastern Milk Seminar will be held in Nashville, TN on October 24-26.
FDA will hold a virtual meeting in place of the seminar this fall (date TBD).
If you have topics of interest to be covered during the FDA led virtual meeting, please send that information to an Eastern Milk Seminar Committee member (found at the web address below). If you have previously submitted topic ideas, those have been passed along to FDA.
The requirement for SROs and LEOs to attend one Regional Seminar each certification period would not be enforced for 2021 or 2022.
