2023 NCIMS Conference Dates Confirmed
The biennial National Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments (NCIMS) will now be held on April 3-7, 2023, at the J.W. Marriott in Indianapolis, Indiana. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions on travel, the NCIMS Executive Board decided that a further postponement of the next NCIMS Conference from April 2022 until April 2023 was warranted. This change of dates will allow the NCIMS to hold in-person Committee, Council, General Session and Executive Board meetings, along with networking opportunities similar to the schedule of events at previous conferences.
Importantly, the new dates will hopefully allow for full attendance by the State Voting Delegates, state regulators, dairy industry representatives and U.S. Food and Drug Administration officials, that are essential for a productive and successful conference.
Save the dates for the NCIMS Conference on April 3 -7, 2023 at the J.W. Marriott Indianapolis, IN. Please note that due to meeting space availability at the hotel the 2023 Conference schedule will be condensed to start on Monday April 3rd and end at Noon on Friday April 7th.
Fifty-nine proposals and one carryover proposal from 2019 were received for the previously scheduled 2022 NCIMS Conference. These proposals will be held for consideration at the 2023 Conference. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to submit additional proposals for consideration at the NCIMS Conference in 2023.
The NCIMS Executive Board and Program Committee will be working to develop more information about the full conference program and a timeline for submitting proposals and Conference registration will be announced later this year.
