During Hiring and Retention: Onboarding and Mentoring Employees, you will learn about an effective hiring and onboarding process that will help your new hire feel valued and better understand their role. Properly onboarding new employees can lead to increased productivity, longer tenure on the farm, and increased engagement. You will learn different mentoring strategies for supervisors. Using various models representing the stages of the mentoring relationship, we provide tips and best practices to navigate each step. In the end, the participant will be more prepared to be a mentor in their organization and to provide constructive feedback to new employees.
About the Series: An effective hiring and retention plan can save an organization from costly losses in productivity and turnover. High-retention workplaces tend to employ more engaged workers who, in turn, get more done.
